The WHAT’S IT FOR desk explores the relationship between object and user. In this project the design approach was to inject pockets of space and display surfaces that would question usability. The ambiguity of its order stirs curiosity as the user engages with the desk, exploring the various possible ways to accommodate his/her personal things. The design approach was meant to give the user the flexibility necessary to change, adapt, improvise and infuse his/her personal touch through his/her unique decision in how engagement with the object occurs.
