As the J.S frame did, the L.W. frame pushes further the questioning of the object’s order and how to redirect attention to the art showcased within the frame. The idea was to design a frame that becomes part of what is being displayed, doing so by elaborating on a layer of visual signs that guides and consequently locks the viewer’s eyes into the artifact in display. The object, although symmetric at times does not rely on a static design and it feeds from a continuous visual sequence of both movement and pause. The frame was constructed solely from pallet wood, only wood glue and simple joinery was utilized for its connections.
