After thorough consideration, our architect team worked closely with Spaces for a contemporary industrial design with light-filled, open areas and highly consistent interiors. The design team must create an atmosphere that is a joy to be in, with flexibility for individuals and groups alike. Hence, we curated interiors with warm color palette in mind, and made wood a dominant material which fuels the area’s relaxed vibe.
For working spaces and soft sitting area, engineered wood floor is chosen to set the overall warm tone. In order to make a more balanced impression, certain areas like the community room and the soft sitting area use the somewhat cool poured resin floor. Then, the two are divided by a wooden bookcase, which also serves as an ideal storage and display solution. Most furniture has wooden elements or color/finish that resembles wood strongly. At the same time, we utilize the glossiness of some furniture to counter the matte wood finish, ensuring that the room is bright enough whether in natural or electric lighting.
Additionally, we give the soft sitting room a special touch by using bamboo pendant lighting instead of the conventional ones. The slight Asian touch help tone down the stress and anxiety from work. Notably, the design include a lovely bar counter made from local materials to elevate the calm mood. Also, an elegant staircase is used to connect the business club to the reserved working space on 1st floor instead of a lifeless elevator. In a nutshell, visitors of Space Hung Sheng may expect a dear, cozy yet professional working space
