A Rocco Forte Hotels’ Group hotel located on the edge of Cardiff Bay, Wales. The distinctive form of the building is visible across the bay. The landscape design for the hotel links the architecture to the land and sea. On the seaward side, loosely-formed maritime plants create a soft, naturalised edge to the Bay. On the landward side, specimen trees formally enclose an entrance square to the hotel. Grey foliage maritime planting links the water and land sides of the hotel grounds.
