12-15 Princes Gate

The conversion and refurbishment of a stunning Regency town house located in the renowned Princes Gate area of Knightsbridge. Former occupants of the residential property have included the Kennedy family who benefitted from impressive views onto Hyde Park and the close proximity to the Royal Albert Hall.
The concept for the gardens is a contemporary interpretation of ‘The English Garden’. The designs complement the historic elegance of the town house in a series of formal gardens.

A Courtyard Garden is located at lower ground level. Formal hedging elements give the garden structure and planting beds are contained within low clipped Box borders.  Yew columns add height and scale and a row of espalier lime trees are reminiscent of historical formal gardens.
The Park Terrace is based on the layering of structural planting elements and the Roof Terraces offers a city retreat with elements of the ‘English Garden’ planting palette giving fragrance and structure to this haven from the city below.
