The house is rich in form, exactly in the spirit of our other buildings. I wanted to test what stimulus such shaped spaces provide in terms of long-term use. Whether they do enrich you as much as I think they do, or whether they are more of a wish and a nuisance afterward. I am still excited. We were just refining some of the solutions in terms of workmanship as we were building. The floor plan of the house is a bit like a coffin. The mass of the house is distinctly horizontal with stepped floors that graduate to the adjacent avenue of lime trees and birch woods. The direction of the gradation follows the slope of the surrounding terrain. The elevation of the garden is around twelve meters. We have taken over the shaping begun by the original owner for the residence terraces, which we have modified to follow the geometry of the house. So everything is cut sharply - attics, ramps, bed shapes...
