The proposed apartment building is located in the eastern part of Prague in the locality of Černý Most, on one of the last vacant sites of this densely built-up major housing estate. The shape is a continuation of the construction in the wider surroundings, i. e. the houses from the 1970s and 1980s and their rectangular shapes. These houses have been refurbished over the years and the result has quite often been an overly distinctive color scheme. Expressive not only in color but also in shape are the apartment blocks in the immediate neighborhood which were built in the early part of this century. We therefore deliberately chose a restrained elegance - angular shapes and white color for the entire façade of the house. The materials used were also chosen so as not to degrade them more than necessary.
