Kahn's first pieces of architecture resides, the Trenton Bath House.  This simple structure embodies what Kahn later used as the main building block of most his architectural work.  Kahn was also hired to construct a community center adjacent this bathhouse.  Although he went through many phases of design, his ideas never came into existence and another Architect designed the community center.
