The condominium tower planned for 315 East 46th Street will be a distinctive glass clad building of twenty-five stories. The tower sets back with a recessed chevron plan at the ground level creating an intimate plaza at its front door. From the plaza, the building rises and the chevron plan sets back occasionally creating terraces for several apartments. The plan configuration allows for enhanced views toward the south. Immediately to the north of the building is Dag Hammarskjold Park, running along 47th Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue. Therefore both sides of the building and all the apartments on both the front and back enjoy open views.
The tower will have 52 residences including one, two and three bedroom apartments with a large penthouse residence that will enjoy a private roof-top terrace screened by a glass curtain wall crown that will give the building a unique identity when viewed from various vantage points across the city.
