We just finished a charrette that consisted of designing 4 housing units on a somewhat small site. It was meant to prepare us for the density of our now current project, which is 18 units in Highland Park. It is an affordable housing project in a low income neighborhood in L.A. The easiest way to solve the problem is to think like a developer. As cheasy as it sounds, I'm taking the challenge to give the residents a quality of life while being economical at the same time. I'll post sketches, photos, or text as they come.
