Based on the light study of the whole Housing area, I choose the darkest part as the pool site, out of consideration of safety. Moreover, the site is designed to be green park place to hold diverse activities, so the pool is put largely underground to return the platform for activities.
Since there is light and water, I decide to take them as concepts and try to combine them together. The fluid force study helps to generate the geometry of the envelope of the roof, as well as the natural, ergonomically designed pool space. Sunlight could go through the light tunnel to reach the water surface directly. Meantime, interior light could permeate out to add more security.
