Stand on the ground with London at our feet and Delirious New York in hand, the will consider alternative methods for the projection of architecture in London. Why? You might ask, such displacing of ideas and realities? and why now?

Manhattanism offers a structural prototype for research into the culture of congestion, a potential blueprint for metrics and alternatives to global architecture and lifestyle in global cities.

Post Brexit London is a global city at the brink of its own cultural re-description - beyond its financial bravado if nit architectural bravura - ready for a reassessment of its urban architecture.

Therefore, "The Thames Womb" will present a thesis project that embeds "A city within a city", that is strange yet familiar; floating yet grounded; independent yet intergrated; urban yet rural; rational yet delirious.
