AV3 design studio was hired by LGE design build to plan and design the Heritage Marketplace.  Previously planned as a standard suburban shopping center.  AV3 design studio planned and envisioned a collection of individual one story and two story buildings which would frame Gilbert's main street and continue the traditional pedestrian fronted streets-capes.   Each building is individually designed to reflect the agricultural and territorial heritage of Gilbert.   A combination of retail, restaurants, and office allow this project to spur the renaissance of downtown Gilbert Arizona. Heritage Marketplace provides an example of how place making can be designed utilizing small scale buildings, traditional sidewalk fronted retail and traditionally inspired architecture.
