New York, NY
Created for a French filmmaker, this colorful, bright apartment takes advantage of a penthouse by opening it up to the roof, adding large windows for daylight as well as a patio with 360-degree skyline views. The colors, materials and spare lines reflect the client’s personal style. As the client desired, the pied-à-terre feels “distinctly American, harking back to the postwar optimism and experimentation of designers like Charles and Ray Eames,” wrote Wendy Goodman in New York Magazine.
