Zeppelin Station

Zeppelin Station is a 100,000 square foot office building with an International Food
Market Hall and Retail environment, including an Anchor Restaurant that activates the corner of 35th and Wazee. Acting as a ‘station’ to the nearby 38th Street light rail stop, the building is clad with black fiber cement panels and features terraces oriented towards city and mountain views. The primary facade is intended as monolithic yet textured, clad with vertical metal fins, presenting its variations of light and color to the passing trains and pedestrian bridge. The ‘woonerf’ streetscape integrates the activity of the market hall with an outdoor plaza and city cycle path.

My role as Project Architect for both the Core and Shell building as well as the Tenant Improvements thereafter has been to preserve the design intent from concept through construction. I have worked on all aspects of the design from concept studies, drawing sets, Construction Administration and project representation in the form of drawings and renderings.

Zeppelin Station is LEED Silver and the recipient of:

2018 AIA Colorado Award of Merit & Notable in Denver
2019 AIA Western Mountain Region Design Excellence Award
