Strategic folds inform the design and production of 'fOld First Ward.' Constructed from a single steel plate, this bench's operational logic is revealed through visible creases that support function and comfort for human use. The strategic folds are a result of ergonomic studies that aim to further enhance natural movement and flow of the human body. Through conceptual design that considers form, structure, and comfort, this built work offers the user both aesthetics and comfort.
