La_Española_House

Located in an important Subdivision close to Biological Reserve "El Manglar" this single house was designed as a response to its context, a design looking for natural lightened views to the outsides was achieved by interior-open garden and windows all around two corner facades these last protected from thermal incidence by folding horizontal black aluminum  louvers, thick 10" walls made by thermal ceramic structural block surround the house, 2" thick extruded polystyrene foam -LEED Approved- all over the concrete roof to reduce thermal incidence. Materials used during execution are approved by Mexican norms and norms for sustainable housing,  waterproofing and paintings with LEED credit 4.1 & 5, Holcim concrete due to its carbon footprint reduction during process. Becoming a comfortable house it expects to be emulated in future surroundings projects.
