 Located close the beach in one of the most exclusives subdivisions in Boca del Rio Veracruz, the project is developed on an existing structure of a non completed single house, it was originally designed with outdated traditional features: sloped roofs, shingles and lot of useless ornaments which unfit to the customer request, new design mediates between the old (full of columns and elements) structure and a more simple program leaded to a contemporary and open plan design; by reinforcing original structure with metal beams and metal columns it was achieved an open-illuminated space; opposite to original project who perceived the sun as an enemy to defeat because its orientation, the new design tries to set a dialogue by let it wash some spaces by domes and enter suddenly by intentional separations between walls and louvers to others spaces as well. Color white, wood, clear glass and natural gray limestone in facades, 3x6 ft Santo Tomas Marble for floor pieces are the materials that brings character to this building.
