Historic Building Restoration

Perhaps the most exciting project I've ever participate. The building itself is a jewel of architecture, is actually one of just two buildings in Veracruz and throughout Mexico with deposit water tank at ground floor level, Investigators assume that the only brother-building in Continental America is located in Puerto Rico; the design is totally oriented to exalt the building historic character, originally it was a house, the proposal program for a restaurant tries not to alter the original distribution and sensibility but the final use, by big typography, black painted metal structure and railings distinguish as a new intervention, coral stone thick walls plastered with lime from Tecali, Puebla, traditional masonry, vaulted ceilings, and wood beams are the main characters of this work. Due to bureaucratic process, long/exhaustive reviews the project is partially intervened.
