I am a Future architect based in Syracuse New York, currently working towards the completion of a five-year B.Arch degree (2020) at Syracuse University, with a minor in Fine Arts.  As a student, my  work focuses on the investigation of systematic design processes as a way of architectural form-finding. Recent research has also instigated my interested in sustainability theory, ecological functionalism and material experimentation.

Having  worked  for faculty at the Center of Excellence (Performative Praxis Lab) at Syracuse University and the MART School of Architecture lab, as well as for several architecture offices, I intend to further implement my learnings about sustainability, urban energy modeling and natural materials into my future work. After completing my undergraduate studies, I aspire to work for an office  which allows me to implement my current knowledge, as well as challenging me into learning new subjects within the field of architecture.

Shepley Bulfinch, Boston, MA, US, Architectural Intern

Worked as a design assistant in the development of the University of Edinburgh library addition. My role was focused on the design of an efficient passive facade system through the use of performance simulation tools. Other non-design related tasks included the production of rendered visualizations, animations, and the production of three-dimensional computer models.

Jun 2019 - Aug 2019

Everson Museum Of Art, Syracuse, NY, US, Exhibition production team

Worked towards the exhibition design and production of architectural materials for the exhibition celebrating the Everson Museum 50th year anniversary.

Jun 2018 - Aug 2018

Preformative Praxis Lab, Syracuse, New York, Energy Research Assistant

Worked as a first assistant and co-author towards the development of research materials now published in the Proceedings for the 2018 IBPS Building Simulation Conference. My role focused on the energy analysis of a residential community in Texas and the development of a urban energy model for simulation, as well as running simulations on such model to obtain data. From the data extracted we were able to determine the best architectural retrofit for each of the participant homes, to guarantee best energy performance.

Jan 2018 - Aug 2018

MART Lab, Syracuse, NY, US, Research Assistant

Worked as a design assistant towards the development of a self-sustainable housing prototype. My responsibilities included applying knowledge about passive and environmental systems, research on low-carbon materials and proposing weekly design schemes.

Dec 2017 - May 2018

Estudio ARTiquectura, Salamanca, ES, Arrchitectural Intern

Worked towards the development of a small residential project. Primary tasks included design assistance, drafting and the production of rendering visualizations and construction documents.

Jun 2015 - Aug 2015

Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, US, BArch, Architecture

Currently pusuing a 5-year degree in Architecture with a focus on sustainability and passive design. Minor in Fine Arts. Expected graduation date May 2020.
GPA 3.78

Aug 2015 - current

Annual King & King Architects Design Competition, Nomination

Each year the King & King Architects Leadership by Design Prize recognizes excellence in the School of Architecture’s comprehensive studio. After a rigorous semester, each studio nominates teams of students to present their projects in a competition which is juried by members of the firm.

Marsception 2018, Honorable Mention

Worked on the development of a self-sustainable structure prototype focused on the normalization of sustainable behaviors through eco-feedback technologies for speculative human occupation on Mars.

Scholarship in Action, Scholarship

The Scholarship in Action Merit Scholarships are awarded to 11 upper-class students according to academic achievements and demonstration of scholarship in action.

Extraordinary Merit Award, 1st Place

The Extraordinary Merit Awards for Colegio Montessori are given to the students of greatest academic performance within each class promotion. I was awarded twice, in the year 2014 and 2015.
