Conejo Merchant Business Center is a Speculative Commercial Office Warehouse Complex in Thousand Oaks California. This is the largest commercial business complex project that I have managed. Upon its completion in 2016 it will host twenty-four units. Six of the buildings are zero lot line, one free standing unit in the rear of the complex and one large commercial condo complete the eight building complex. The site has a significant slope from its Western to Eastern ends. We mitigated the visual impact of the sloped site by emphasizing the building’s verticality with alternating bands of color. To further mask the building stepping, we oscillate the facades. This project breaks ground in October of 2015.
