Theater House emerges as a project of an openly urban scale, clearly emphasizing its identity and presence.

Is dynamic and conditioning effect on a stretch of urban fabric in the Entrecampos area in Lisbon, is a clearly an achieved objective. After a deep historical and morphological analysis of the intervention zone, a careful urban planning emerges, integrated with the surrounding area, where Theater House bursts through the grounds of the former City Fair Park of Lisbon as a new center of attraction for the city. 

The building is born on the concept of theater masks, incorporating under a glass facade and wavy roof a set of buildings that form the Casa do Teatro. One of the features to be highlighted in this project are the three concert halls that together form a single large room were the roof can open, providing an open-air spectacle, just like in ancient Greek and Roman theaters.
