I think these houses are also designed by Enric Miralles (EMBT) as the Santa Caterina market, I think Bennedetta Taglibue showed them in a conference last year
it's a nice project, and there are a few others in the neighborhood that attempt to create a similar type of pedestrian space. the entire neighborhood is being aerated, as I mentioned here.
