Meridian Gardens Recovery Housing

Meridian Gardens is Central City Concern’s (CCC) newest Permanent Supportive Housing development scheduled to open autumn 2024 and will provide 60 Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and 25 deeply affordable studios. Planned amenities include common kitchens and community rooms on each SRO level , recovery group rooms, a supportive services office, and large shared outdoor courtyard. Housing and essential supportive services continuing CCC's mission to serve Portland's most vulnerable population.

Located in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood in outer Southeast Portland, Meridian Gardens is situated opposite to the CCC's Cedar Commons completing phase II of the campus and is the third building in the Division Continuum after Cedar Commons and Crescent Court. CCC's Climate Action Plan led to Meridian Gardens being the first all electric building equipped features such as energy efficient in unit mini-splits, centralized heat-pump water heating, solar arrays, expanded EV charging stations and is on target for Earth Advantage Multifamily Platinum Level certification.

A shared gardening area with raised beds on Cedar Common's green will be expanded when the Meridian Garden's opens.
