Related NW and Central City Concern (CCC), partnered on Cedar Commons as the first phase of the Division Street Campus, which includes Crescent Court and Meridian Gardens. As Housing First, this 3-story mixed-use building, with 40 permanent supportive housing (PSH) single-room occupancy (SRO) units, and 20 affordable studio units, provides a much-needed home with ground floor integrated clinical and supportive services. The plan uses simple repeating units in a stacked configuration along a double-loaded corridor.
The building energy strategy reduced resource consumption through adopting green features such as solar PV array and led lighting. Project achieved Earth Advantage Multifamily Platinum Level Certification.
