This is a construction studio, and my group of six was required to build "doors and windows". Our design
begins with the definition question: WHAT IS A DOOR, AND WHAT IS A WINDOW?
Doors and windows are both PENETRATIONS inside walls. Doors penetrates the wall to provide physical access; in the contrary, windows penetrates the wall to provide visual access. Then the design comes out following our exploration about the nature of doors and windows: we scattered the penetrating elements on the abstract wall, and designed the "floating" doors and windows.
