The charm of Ethiopia is also reflected in the geological features of its land – the great rift valley of East Africa, the magnificent Ethiopian plateau, the spectacular Simien Mountains, the towering monoliths and the unique Galalta Mountains. We fell in love with these natural elements and decided to introduce them into the design. Extracting the forms of the Canyon and Monolith, we integrated them into architecture, and re-framed the relationship between the City and the Nature. Visible from afar, it is a crown on the skyline and a marker within the daily life of Addis Ababa.
