An outstanding XVI century building. A revamping with social purposes. The project for a new experimental hospitality hub.

Its context has a strong historical identity, and it’s surrounded by a park featuring an Italian-style garden. The goal is to create new housing units for mother-child households with hardships. Thus, the real challenge is turning these grand, austere buildings into new comfortable homes. By means of color, graphics, and an effective layout, we create a cozy environment, with a transformed identity. A place where everybody can feel as part of something shared.

A special area is dedicated to mother-child activities, where interior design produced spaces tailored for children, teenagers and adults. One example is the kitchen lab, where we created special adaptable modules for a shared cooking experience by kids and adults. The ancient finishes, stuccos and colors become one with the values of hospitality, participation and sharing.
