This robust and durable interpretive pavilion will provide visitors and schoolchildren with a covered gathering place where they can learn about local history, flora, fauna, and water usage within the Shadow Cliffs Regional Area before embarking on naturalist-led walking tours of the wilderness area.
Circulation, lighting, and user experience were all carefully considered so as to accommodate numerous stakeholders and user groups. The site’s small footprint and programmatic requirements dictated a zig-zag shape.
