Casa B14

Nestled in the heart of a green residential area, the project for Casa B14 in Dubai’s La Mer island, provides a perfect shelter for tranquillity and relax. Its architectural compositions features suggestive views of the surrounding landscape, seamlessly blending the indoors and outdoors to create a sense of harmony and balance. The interior spaces are carefully designed to provide a luxury living experience and to blend technology, nature and comfort.

Large windows and sliding doors flood the living spaces with natural light, while providing stunning views of the lush greenery and crystal-clear waters that surround the property. The open-plan layout creates a sense of spaciousness and flow, inviting the users to move effortlessly between the living, dining, and kitchen areas, feeling a deep and continuous connection to nature.

The open-plan layout of the living spaces is designed to maximize the stunning sea views, with large glass sliding windows that allow natural light to flood in. The design features natural materials and a palette of neutral tones that provide an understated elegant atmosphere. Stone, wood, and other organic materials blend in with the surroundings, creating a harmonious tension between built and natural elements.

The project establishes a direct connection with water, which is used as a building material to shape the spaces and organize the views, also thanks to the villa’s proximity to a tranquil lake and to the sea. The outdoor living spaces are designed to maximize this connection with water and to take advantage of the sorroungings, with a beautiful infinity pool that seamlessly merges with the lake and the sea, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation

The building is conceived as a combination of glass and concrete, creating a striking contrast against the lush greenery and crystal blue waters of the sea. The clean lines of the façade are enriched with the intricate geometric pattern of the terracotta mashrabiya that adds an element of traditional Arabic architecture to the villa. The pattern also serve a functional purpose, allowing natural light to filter through while providing privacy and shade. Beautiful interplays of light and shadow cast ever-changing patterns on the interior walls and floors, the space becomes visually dynamic and eye-catching, the warm tones of terracotta also provide a sense of depth and texture to the otherwise minimalist façade.
