Gut interior build out for high-end restaurant, comprising of partial demolition mezzanine floor slab to achieve a dramatic double height central dining space.
An new intermediate level, accompanied by open stairs and a private elevator, created a spiraling series of levels under a ceiling designed to mimic the existing exterior grid canopy. Construction of a series of raised exterior terraces in the previously unoccupied exterior ground floor plaza, connected by bridges and gradually increasing in height to patios at both middle & upper interior floors - thus creating continuous loops of spatial circulation & occupancy, winding up and around through both interior & exterior.
Purpose-designed landscaping "brought the outside in", smearing the boundaries on multiple levels.
