When designing a residential space, people often think that it involves sourcing good furniture and fabric and arranging them in appropriate place. Many consider residential design to have create limit compare to a commercial space, however in this project, I have demonstrated that a residential space can in itself be an artwork. Through the design process, beige and neutral tone have been set in favor of color to create a fun and interesting space. This home was designed for a modern cubist sculptor who got inspiration from mid-century modernism. The design was designed with the client’s own artworks, therefore, is his own masterpiece.
