Ever since the beginning of my architectural education, I have been interested with a series of questions that eventually forged my personal agenda: how spaces affect social interaction; what tools can the architecture use to qualify spaces; and how diverse environmental experiences influence human behaviors. These matters have been ever-present concerns in my strategic approach towards the discipline, becoming an ethos to support my conceptual design. The selected works present this personal attitude implemented in multiples scales, typologies and contexts.
Once I had elaborated a design rationale through my academic and professional experience in Spain, I became deeply attracted to explore new ways of representing and conveying the ideas. I considered essential to speculate with new ways of spread the conceptual design, especially for people outside of our field, becoming sometimes the communication of it even more important than the design per se. That conviction took me to participate in the digital explorations that I have been carried out for the last two years at the Master of Arts in New Media Studio at East Tennessee State University, both as a student and as a design intern.
