I was the main trend educator while I was at Classic Concepts. I was sent to several seminars around La and Northern California I was to provide and relay the information I was given at these seminars, and apply them to a visual outline, describing color tones, icons relating to the upcoming trend and providing a firm understanding of what the trend represents.
Not only did I do the visual outline but also created story board colagues of each individual trend, showing materials relating to the trend, the color palette that represents it and what the tru definitions was of the particular trend.
I was to them with story boards of inspiration. My presentations were bi-annual and geared to educate the furniture, rug, and home bedding / soft good designers, in order for them to create and design upcoming seasonal lines for the company. I also actively provided the sales representatives of the company with thorough trend education, in order to help make sales smoother and more informative for the client. I actively did this for 3 years with Classic Concepts as well.
Below is a sample of the trend outlines I created for the designers & sales teams.
