I was the main set designer for the soft goods division. Traveled to showrooms across the country on behalf of Classic Concepts. I was also responsible for the accessory purchasing for the sets in each state, as well as the project manager. I coordinated and designed each tradeshow by show season. I was responsible for creating "real life environments" with all 3 of our divisions products, home bedding, pillows, rugs and furniture.
I premeditated and drafted the space layouts, and positioned all product into bedroom, living room, and dining room sets based on the space. The main objective was to create a strong, on trend visual of our our products intertwined with each other, ultimately to get furniture retail companys to purchase our product in bulk. I was to create & provide buyers with a realistic experience of the potential of our goods in a visual home setting.
On a 5 day timeline usually, I was to decorate and create sets, usually from 4,000 to 11,000 square feet. Arriving to a empty space of mass square footage, and ultimately leaving 5 days later to 5 to 10 entire, fully decorated live sets, all created, designed and managed by me.
