Site & Landscape Design Graduate School - 2 Weeks

The objective of this exercise was to reconnect a site back with its former "nature" before development. In this case, we were given the site of a local Planned Parenthood which sites on the flattened side of a hill on the Palouse. For my concept, I focused on reconnecting to with the slope of the hill while also addressing the need for privacy among visitors. With this in mind, the site plan and structure of my proposal mixes grand gestures and subtle nuances to reconnect with the formally existing topography while also creating a safe, soft, and enveloping environment.
