«Overview» is a collection I developed with Elliott Barnes for Tai Ping. Renowned for its handmade and custom-made rugs, Tai Ping is recognized worldwide. Composed of five original designs, available in six hand-tufted rugs mixing a very graphic Californian style with seventies reminiscences. These rugs take us to Los Angeles and its iconic places, such as Mulholland Drive, to create a visual and colorful collection...

Inspired by carefully selected pictures of Los Angeles with Elliott, I sketched each rug base by hand and then on the computer. Then we discussed the color selection, so I could bring to life the colorful landscapes on Photoshop. We then had several meetings with Tai Ping to select the materials, colors, textures, cut types, sizes, etc. Some samples were made, and we were finally ready to finalize the collection for the opening of the new showroom in Paris, also designed by Elliott Barnes.
