This two-story penthouse, located in the heart of Manhattan, offers a luxurious retreat with stunning panoramic views of the city. Inspired by the timeless elegant style of the Baccarat Hotel also designed by Gilles & Boissier, this project blends the history of crystal withNew York’s energy and French flair. Every detail celebrates the brilliance of crystal in an atmosphere that’s both elegant and refined. The project mixes traditional wall moldings and sleek modernity, such as the steel ceiling beems and the helical steel staircase, that reflects the dynamic essence of New York’s skyscrapers.
Collaborating with Patrick Gilles, I led the creation of this sophisticated apartment designed for the clients’ needs. Leading a team comprising individuals from the FF&E department and a junior interior designer. We meticulously reprogrammed the existing floor plan, developed 3D renderings, curated material selections, and advanced design development. Unfortunately, despite our progress, the project was ultimately aborted before the construction phase.
