The objective of this competition was to create a landmark and a destination in the old Venetian Arsenal in the city of Heraklion on Crete.

The main element of the proposal was a translucent box floating over a pool inside the arsenal that would function as a gallery.

Other elements include a café, a tourist information point, and the landscaping of the plaza.
