We were asked to choose a site anywhere in the world. When researching this project I found a personal description from Eileen Gray's E-1027 house on why she chose the site that she did. I took this description and re-created the experience in this project. The description is as follows: Clambering over crumbling walls, through the scattered Levant pines and brushes of wild rosemary and euphorbia before coming on a small natural terrace cut into the honey-coloured limestone rocks with the ever-changing turquoise of the Mediterranean below. The swim was forgotten.
