This complex in Cordoba, Argentina includes programming for a train station, hotel, a connection over the river, and ancillary services to revive the area. This is accomplished with a paved, sunken spine down the length of the site, connecting the outdoor platforms with the hotel. Recessed in the edge of the spine are commercial needs. There are also paths connecting the city grid, and drawing people to the bridge and views of the river.
The rest of the site consists of green spaces that peel up to create the sunken path. These areas provide recreational areas for city residents. The station itself is open air, with thin concrete shells providing shelter to the elevated tracks. This keeps the pedestrian flow on the site as free as possible.
