PROGRAM: community gathering room, sports field, additional classrooms for adjacent school, proposal for housing development, post office, municipal office, clinic

APPROACH: local construction often focuses on growth of buildings, occurring in phases through concrete pours and “bars of hope” (maintaining rebar connections on roof).  the construction and organization of the center will work as an example of this method, while also introducing bamboo screens as a sustainable solution.  centered around a plaza, the complex will have areas for outdoor and indoor community gatherings as many sizes of space are needed.
