The studio prompt this semester, termed “Re-value”, concerns re-adjusting performance characteristics of the condominium through a methodical process of reassessing with regards to concepts such as ecology, transportation, flexibility and lifestyle. Given the fact that the site abuts the highway, my intent was to create a design that aggressively clips onto the highway in terms of form, program, context, as well as ecology.
