The idea behind this peice of furniture was the notion of rejecting confinement. Every form of seating has certain limitations and therefore confining a person to a certain sitting position. I challenged myself to design an adjustable chair without the help of moving parts. After much trial and error I settled on a specific shape  for my needs. This shape allowed me to flip this chair around to get 4 different sitting positions and at times, seating for more than one person.
