Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the blocks of the Law Center can be seen as a synthesis of semi-autonomous entities, not a series of fully autonomous stacked buildings. The assembly of building blocks comes together to form a cohesive whole around the atrium. The circulation and atrium work together to form an internalized urban condition that is maintained within the context of the building.
