The Bridge Station at Lingotto was based on two main premises: the necessity to have a fast connection between the two sides of the railroad, allowing specifically residents to pass rapidly from east to west, and the necessity to have a path for slower traffic flow, for individuals and passengers using the station and its commercial facilities. This duality is translated into two distinct and separate volumes utilizing parametric design techniques.
