The sports center serves educational, recreational functions and has been adapted to specified requirements of physical trainings of the National University of Public Service. It contains a handball hall with stands for 1200 spectators, a warm-up hall and a 25 meters long swimming pool. The entire complex is adapted to accommodate international sport competitions, and to serve multifunctional use.

The new sports center is located on the university campus, opening towards the city and the park. The movement of spectators is easily controllable and can be separated from the sportsmen due to the position of the main public area on the first floor. This entrance hall provides an elegant place overlooking the park, while for the university students, who are the building’s principal users, an easy access is provided on ground level.
