TUBE 8x8x300
Register/Submit Deadline: Thursday, May 7, 2020
In the city of Kunming (Capital of Yunnan Province, China), there is an evacuation passageway — which is 8m in height, 8m in width, total 300m in length — connecting several sunken entrance plazas of a big underground shopping mall. This evacuation passageway, giant in volume, center of this site, should be functioned more than just an 'evacuation tube'. How will you renovate this space? Could it be a museum, a place with pop up store or a workshop center with innovation programs? Designers and students from fields of architecture, interior design, interaction design, service design, art, etc are welcome to this conceptual competition.
Fentress Global Challenge: Airport of the Future
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, Jul 1, 2020
Submission Deadline: Friday, Jul 31, 2020
While the airport terminal—conceived a century ago—is a relatively new architectural typology, it has since its inception held equal importance with quintessential civic buildings: city halls, courthouses, libraries, museums, and theaters. Yet, airports are uniquely complex and they are more than just high volume transportation hubs. Increasingly, airports are also workplaces, centers of commerce, recreational outlets, and cultural resources. FGC is open to graduate and undergraduate students currently pursuing architecture or engineering degrees in an accredited university program, as well as recent graduates (within the last four years) with a degree in architecture or engineering.

Moon Base 2124 - Artemis Centenary Design Competition
Registration Deadline: Monday, Jul 27, 2020
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, Aug 11, 2020
The Moon Base competition 2124 asks architects and engineers “What will living on the Moon in the future look like in the 100th anniversary of Artemis program?” We challenge students, architects, designers, scientists, and visionaries to propose ideas on how the lunar settlement in 2124 would be constructed. Ideas could be realistic, actually analyzing how we may live on the Moon in the next 104 year, or creative fantasies of how the Moon can serve the human race.
