What was the First Skyscraper? Call for Abstracts: CTBUH 10th World Congress

CTBUH is issuing a Call for Abstracts to all scholars of history and colleagues with an expertise in this field (including architecture, architectural history, construction, economics, engineering, and beyond) to answer the prompt, “What skyscraper could be considered a ‘first’ in a particular technological field or other dimension?”
Footgolf-Sculpture Garden /Wiesenburg/Mark/Germany
Register/Submit Deadline: Sunday, Mar 31, 2019
The Footgolf - Sculpture Garden is going to be a central attraction of an alternative leisure park which will open its gates in spring 2019 within the train station Wiesenburg. In 2020 a nature golf course will follow. The sculptures will be used as obstacles for the leisure sport Footgolf as well as a freely accessible art installation for visitors of the “Schlosspark Wiesenburg”.
ASA International Design Competition 2019

2019 RAIC International Prize for transformative architecture

The $100,000 RAIC International Prize for transformative architecture is inviting submissions for its third edition. This unique international award, formerly known as the Moriyama RAIC International Prize, recognizes the power of great architecture to transform society.
