This week's picks for London architecture and design events

Dulwich Picture Gallery Late: Feast | 6 October

Continuing the Dulwich Picture Gallery's series of art lates, this Friday evening will be focused on the essential rituals and history surrounding one of the most important parts of the every day; food. There will be alchemist workshops, edible installations, talks on the symbology of food in art, and the 'modern-day answer to still life painting'; a guide to instagramming your food.

Great British Buildings - The Bartlett School of Architecture | 4 October

Great British Buildings: Civic | 11 October

This autumn, RIBA's Great British Buildings series focuses on RIBA award-winning buildings and architects. As part of this, tomorrow's tour of the new Bartlett School of Architecture celebrates the Hawkins Brown design, which provides a varied and celebrated building in which to create the leading architects of tomorrow. 

Book yourself onto next week's talk on civic architecture to hear a discussion of three of 2017's best examples: New Scotland Yard, West Croydon Bus Station, and The Green, Nunhead.

Wade Guyton: Das New Yorker Atelier, Abridged | Until 4 February

AND

Torbjørn Rødland: The Touch That Made You | Until 19 November

This exhibition celebrates the work of Wade Guyton, which explores the through paintings dragged through the idiosyncrasies of modern day printers.

Also on at the Serpentine Gallery is "The Touch That Made You", a showcase of Tobjørn Rødland's photography.  Rødland works with the familiar, and twists perception with viscous substances to distort the viewer.

EDGE: Periphery | 7 October

This is the second in a three part symposia on the periphery areas of London. This day-long programme centres around the regeneration of the Stratford area and includes presentations, placemaking, and a keynote  from Do Ho Soh.
